So wonderful to be able to share in the memorial to Auntie Lorraine online, as travelling is near impossible at the best of times. Uncle Jim was the second oldest of my Mom's five brothers - both Jim and Lorraine will be dearly missed but I will carry so many treasured memories of them both. Lorraine had the most disarming wit - a sharpness about her that was unmistakable. The last time I saw her (in 2019) I wasn't quite sure what to expect, as the frailties of old age were taking their toll on her memory. She took one look at my receding hairline (I do have a certain family resemblance to loads of male relatives in her husband's family) and grabbed me by the arm and looked deep into my eyes with that penetrating stare of hers and exclaimed: "YOU'RE A WELLS!!!" Brilliant. As a musician, I recall playing at events in the area where Jim and Lorraine attended, they were quite the presence on any dance floor - that kind of trust and coordination was obviously a factor in their long and happy marriage. I'm delighted that she's "hopped over the fence" to be with her beloved Jim. All my best to Marlene, Cheryl, Sean, Brianna, Jordan, Jonas and their families.

Dear Marlene, Cheryl and Families:
My thoughts are with you during this time. I am so sorry for your loss. Lorraine will be in our hearts and memories forever. Wishing you strength and peace during this time.
It was such an honour and a pleasure to have provided care for Lorraine. She was such a beautiful lady, who reminded me every day of my own wonderful Mother.
Please find peace that she is at rest with the love of her life, Jim.
Sincerely yours Larry Scott
May She Rest In Peace
