My sincere sympathy to Ilene's family. My dog, Buddy, and I visited Ilene often in Fairview and we both looked forward to these visits. We are very saddened by her passing and will miss her.

Both Ilene and Lawrence were dear friends of mine when I lived in Brandon and taught at the school of nursing. We had many good memories of times shared. When I moved to Ontario I brought with me a 6 month old Golden Retriever named Jenny who had become friends with Kola. I have wonderful photos of Kola and Jenny playing together and Ilene and I shared lots of laughter. Ilene visited me after I moved to Ontario and I have good memories of that time. Ilene was a good friend and she lived a full life. She blessed us all in her special way. I will miss her. Sincerely, Peggy
