Obituary of Jefferson Lawrence O'Donnell

Comforted by his loving family at his home, in his forty-fourth year, Jefferson was called to his eternal reward Friday evening June 8th, 2012 after his valiant struggle with cancer. Jeff leaves his wife Kimberley (Kim Jung Hyun), son Kwang Soak Gabriel and daughter Yumi Athena. He is survived by his parents, Barry and Theresa, sisters Jennifer Couchie (Jamie) and Melissa McGlynn (John), all of London, and his Grandmother Agnes O’Donnell of Peterborough. Uncle Jeff will be lovingly remembered by Jessica and Jacob Couchie and Lucy and James McGlynn. Known for his love of his family, his kindness, his commitment to others, his love of sports, and his patience and encouragement of all his students, Jeff was a long-standing E.S.L. Teacher at Eagle Heights Public School. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 5:00 – 9:00 p.m. at the WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, where the funeral service will be conducted on Wednesday, June 13th, 2012 at 11:00 a.m., Rev. Chris Beaumont of Byron United Church officiating. Donations would be welcomed in support of Recovery Canada.
