My deepest sympathy to the O'Donnell family. Living a street away growing up I had the chance to run into Jeff quite alot...I wasn't always the "coolest" kid and never really had a ton of friends back then. What I remember about Jeff is how he always welcomed me to join in any soccer or street football games that might be going even though I didn't really know those guys at the time. It was really appreciated and I do think that we've lost a light...I know that he is in a better place now and the people's whose lives he did touch are better off because of it

Jeff was always so friendly and warm-hearted. He talked and listened at a level that was so deep and authentic. What a sad loss for you all. In time, enjoy and be proud of the impact he has had on the lives of many and the memories he has helped to build. Deepest regards, Heidi

To Jeff's family, I am not sure if you will receive this as I just came across this on Oct 2, 2013. I was just googling Jeff's name as he was a friend in high school, and he popped in to my mind. I am so sorry to hear of his passing. Jeff and I met through social events, while he was at Banting and I was at Central. We hung out many times and he was such a kind, gentle soul. Whenever I have heard "Forever Young" by Alphaville over the last 25 years I think of him, as he was always so fond of it. I've read many condolensces today and they echo the man I knew, if only for a short time. His chosen profession and love of family does not surprise me at all. I am very, very sorry for your loss and very sorry I won't be able to reconnect with him, but I wanted to add this condolensce to reinforce how far reaching and influential Jeff has been at all stages in his life. I mourn him today and send my sincere condolensces to you all. Rest in peace Jeff. The world has lost a wonderful person.
