Obituary of Ian Buckham

It is with great sadness the family announces the peaceful passing of Ian Buckham at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital on Monday, October 3rd, 2011, following a short battle with cancer. Beloved husband and soulmate of Cheryl (Duesbury) for the past 35+ years. Loving father of sons Jonathan (Dawn) and Adam (Nicole). Adoring grandfather to Sebastian. Sadly missed by Jordan. Dear brother of George (Sandra) in England. Predeceased by father Adam and mother Rose. Will be missed by mother-in-law Freda Savage (Alex), brothers-in-law Robert Duesbury, Harold Duesbury (Linda), Stephen Duesbury (Alison), Diana Duesbury (the late Ken). Survived by numerous cousins in Eastern Ontario and England. Sadly missed by dear family friend of many years, Kevan Ridgway of Vancouver. In accordance with Ian’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 11th, 2011 from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 p.m. at the WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, where the memorial service will be conducted on Wednesday, October 12th, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. (with visitation one hour prior to the service) . Donations to the London Health Sciences Foundation, Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital or the London Regional Cancer Centre would be greatly appreciated by the family.
