Obituary of Dave Whaley

Our beloved Dave, after a long courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by his family at Victoria Hospital, London, on Wednesday, September 14th, 2011 in his 49th year. Loving husband and best friend of Glenda. Proud father of Laura and Mike. Cherished son of Reg and Gaye Whaley and son-in-law of Doreen and Paul LeBlanc. Dear brother of Doug and Angela (Randy) Clarke and brother-in-law of Andrea and Arlene. Much loved uncle of Matt, Jeff and Katie Clarke; Chelsie, Clint and Caitlin Buchko; and Alexis and Rachel Hofsteede. He was a well respected referee and official in the OHA and the OHL who cherished his time and all the people he met over the years. Friends and family will be received on Saturday from 3:00 - 5:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. at the WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, where the funeral service will be conducted on Sunday, September 18th, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a donation in memory of Dave are asked to consider the London Regional Cancer Program. “LIVESTRONG”
