Obituary of Harold Prosper Lachine

Peacefully at University Hospital on August 29th, 2011, in his 84th year. Beloved husband of Donna for 59 years. Loving father of Anne Sutherland (Donald) of Pembroke, Catherine Truppe (William) of Lambeth, Stephen Lachine (Rianne) of Waterloo, Jeanette Jansen (Harry) of Durham, North Carolina, and Adele McLaughlin (Neil) of Newmarket. Harold will be sadly missed by 12 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Brother of Dorothy O’Rouke, Patricia Luyt and Karl Lachine. Fondly remembered by sister-in-law Irene Crits (Bill Montgomery). Predeceased by his son Anthony (1978) and by nine siblings. Visitation will be held at the WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Thursday, September 1st, 2011 from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. George’s Roman Catholic Parish, 1164 Commissioners Road West, London on Friday, September 2nd, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. Private Interment at Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery, Sarnia.
