Gord, your passing has left a pain in my heart, and a deep saddness in my soul. I will miss our chats and visits. Gord could light up a room with his beautiful smile and always had a way of looking at the bright or positive side of everything.. Gord was a very dear friend, a person i could converse with so easy. Gord was my mentor, advisor, and when ever Gord spoke, you knew it was coming from his heart. To Patsy, Debbie,Nancy, Gord jr., Tim and all their families, You are all in my prayers, I lost a dear friend, but you lost your " DAD", i KNOW HOW PRECIOUS HE WAS TO EACH OF YOU. The Lord will carry you through your sorrow, in time your pain will ease, but the memories will be with you forever. I want to make sure that i did not forget Gords passion. Gord loved to bring his ladies {as he called them} flowers. His face would beam when he would tell me that it was flower day .Gord, I am going to miss you beyond words can say .See you in Heaven buddy.

We grew up in Lambeth....involved in and enjoying the hockey and baseball life...Gord was always present with a smile and a joke for everyone. He will be truly missed. Our heartfelt sympathies to Patsy, Debbie, Gordie, Tim and their families...Please know you are in our thoughts and prayers at this time. May the memory of his smile bring you comfort now and always.

Grandfather; you will be missed but most of all you will be remembered, these memories will be cherished always. We have admired you and you have brought us all inspiration. May there always be enough scotch in your glass and deer in your sight in the place that you are, for, as Evan said it best, there is another shooting star now. We Love You Always.

I will miss my dear, sweet, lovable friend, Gord....alias "Old Fart" (meant with respect and endearment and a chuckle of course) and my walks down to see you for a friendly smile, a nice chat, and lots of laughter and kidding around. It was nice to just sit and have a beer and a friendly, fun visit. I appreciated you sharing the history of our farm. I hope that no one is after your wallet up in heaven my friend. Those angels you spoke of quite often captured you.....one of them must have been pretty!!! I was always happy to share my flowers with you so you could cheer someone up or make someone's day a little happier when you showed up with that handsome smile of yours and a bouquet. To the Ross kids.....I know and saw by example how much you love your father. He felt happy and well supported by all of you and that meant the world to him. You should be proud of all that you did for him. He clearly returned your love and appreciated you. I am truly sorry for your great loss and I share your sadness. I will really miss you Gord.

Thinking of you all in your time of loss. I knew Gord through Memorial league fastball and I was always playing for London against Lambeth. My son, Kevin, and Gord Jr. played against one another and Gord and I sat and the games and visited often during games. He was a great guy...and will be missed.

I had the pleasure of working next to Gord at the Covenant Market. He came across as a tough guy, but his BIG HEART gave him away! I will always have fond memories of him. Our thoughts are with you.

To Everyone reading and leaving messages here. On behalf of the Ross Family Many thanks to all who visited Dad, the great neighbours he had around him, those who called him, brought him food, did little jobs for him, sent flowers, made donations and came to say their last farewell. It was a sad couple of days but with the stories and memories told to us it made it so much easier to handle the passing of our Father. Yes Dad will be greatly missed by all but our love for "Big Gord" will keep us strong. Patsy, Debbie, Nancy, Gord Jr. Tim and our families.
