Obituary of David James Ayton

Passed peacefully into the presence of his Saviour, at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital, on Thursday, July 9, 2020, at the age of 90. Beloved husband of the late Betty Marie Ayton (2014). Loving father of David (Marianne), Janet Donald, the late Bruce (Barbara), Gordon, Leonard (Sherry) and Ronald. Devoted Grandpa of 22 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Doris Durdin and Bob Ayton, and the late Frank Ayton. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 18, 2020 from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, where a funeral service will be conducted on Sunday, July 19, 2020 at 3:00 p.m. Registration is required to attend the visitation and/or service.
