Dear Family of Dave Mike and I enjoyed Dave's company for coffee at McDonalds in St. Thomas. His stories of his years in the military reminded us of the dedication of his generation to our Country. He had a quiet sense of humour and enjoyed a good story. We are sorry for your loss and he will be missed.

I was so sorry to learn of Dave’s passing. He was always such fun when we would meet for coffee at the Dunset Cafe. Dave had the heart of a lion and the soul of a dove. He will be missed by all his friends Be with God .

We knew him simply as Gord's dad. He was the focus of many of Gord's stories, mostly centered around his childhood in North Bay, where his father served with the military. I think I only met him once, when Gord brought him into Fire HQ, but he was very much the guy you expected to see from the stories. It was clear to all of us that you had many special memories of your time together. On behalf of all of Gord's friend's here at Kitchener Fire Prevention, we are very much sorry for your loss. Gord, if you need anything in the coming weeks and months, the team has got your back.
