To have known the three of you was to have known a significant part of your mom. I do remember how proud she was of her three kids. Reciprocally, you must have felt the same about her. Under different circumstances, I would have connected in person at this difficult time. But perhaps an email correspondence might be possible. Along with another 5 photos of memorable students, you still sit on my home desk Carolyn, reminding me of that charmed career I was fortunate to have at Oakridge. I am sorry for your loss you two. The fullness of your mom’s life anchored in her love for her family speaks for itself.✌ï¸ðŸ™â™¥ï¸

Dear Janis. I so wish I had of known your mom was still alive. For some strange reason I thought she has passed many years ago. I thought of her many times over the past years and would have loved to have visited her. I have fond memories of you and your mom on Oxford Street as neighbors. Especially sitting on your step watching me and my bridesmaids have our pictures taken before I went to the church to marry Wayne. I probably drove your mom crazy playing my music so I could hear it on the patio, playing "Midnight Blue" over and over feeling so sad Wayne wasn't there but would be on the weekend. Of course I was only 33yrs old so what did I know to be more considerate. LOL I remember the day I read Raymond had passed and the sadness when I ran into you in the parking lot and confirmed that it was so. What an incredibly sad time for your family. Your mother was such a beautiful sweet woman. Perhaps when you have the celebration of life, I will be able to be come. Would love to see you. Take care of your self and your family in this difficult time not only of sadness but with this virus. Love to you. Jan I would be happy to hear from you by email if you get a chance.

I knew Elizabeth Gloude. She was my best friend from public school's mother. His name was Raymond. We were great friends and had a understanding of one another. Raymond died in a car accident in 1984 and I miss him greatly and think about him often. Elizabeth was a strong and intelligent woman and I remember her in her home downstairs doing production for home decorating - curtains, slip covers, pillow cases and working very hard and tirelessly when I would come over to see Ray after public school. She was very nice to me and after Ray passed away, I continued to see her on occasion. I remember her home phone number to this day. 471-0640 if my memory serves. Janis and Carolyn must miss her mother and I know they loved her very much. She was a good woman. Elizabeth Gloude, God Bless you and rest in peace. Amen Richard Todd Kirkpatrick
