Obituary of Gord McComb

McComb, Gord – Peacefully at home surrounded by his family and special friends on Friday, September 10, 2010, Gord McComb of London in his 73rd year. Beloved husband of 43 years to Fleurette (Talbot) McComb. Loving father of Marc (Christine) of Chandler, Arizona, Greg of Burlington and Keith of London. Gord was also grandfather (AKA – “PAPA”) to Kalyb and Ethan McComb of Stratford. Dear brother of Ross (Shirley) of Dorchester, Ian (Margaret) and Marie (Jack) Fursman all of London and Jim of St. Thomas. Gord will also be missed by numerous nieces and nephews which he dearly loved. Gord has touched many lives through volunteer work and organizations, OPP and military. A private memorial service will be held at later date to celebrate Gord’s life. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a donation in memory of Gord are asked to consider Cancer Research. .
