Old st.thomas elgins fan posted a condolence
I never really new Dr. Jamison, but as a young boy, I used go to Elgin games and sit near the bullpen where the pitchers, would warm up. Mr. Jamison, or Bill, as we would call him at that time, always took the time to speak with us. One memory that has stayed with me over the years, was the day he played catch with me. It may not sound like such a big deal, but believe me, to a young boy it was. I'm very sorry for your loss.

Baxter and Sue Willis posted a condolence
Daer Marion and family, Sue and I send our deepest sympathyat your loss. Bill had a profound positive effect on my surgical career even though I became an orthopaedic surgeon. He was an accomplished and proficient surgeon, an outstanding teacher but an even better and down to earth individual whom I respected so much. When the times were intense in the operating room, Bill always had a funny story or joke to defuse the tension. He will be sorely missed by so many of his former residents and colleagues. Please kknow that you are in our thoughts and prayers. Baxter and Sue Willis Ottawa

Kent & Kristi Dunbar posted a condolence
Our deepest sympathies go to the Jamieson family. While I never met "Big Bill", I know through "little Bill" how great a person he was. The strong values I see in Bill indicate to me just how amazing his dad was (including frequent discussions of father and son fishing trips). Big Bill has left an incredible legacy - one the entire family can certainly be proud of. Sincerely, Kent & Kristi
