Obituary of George Corneil

George Corneil October 10, 1946- September 15, 2019 George was born in San Bernadino, California to Allen and Levina Corneil. The family moved to Oregon in 1964 where George completed his GED at Lane Community College. George served in the Marine Corps and received an honorable discharge. George worked for the 4-J school district as a security/custodian and was well liked and respected by the teachers and principles where he served. George took pride in his work and sacrificed much of his personal time in aid of his family. He took care of his mother after the death of his father in 1992 until her passing in 2000. He also cared for his younger brother Alan while maintaining their residence in Springfield. George enjoyed stamp and coin collecting as hobbies with his favorite pastime relaxing to music. His favorite singer was Elvis Prestley and his favorite orchestra was Percy Faith. George is survived by his sister Katherine Leon and younger brother Alan Corneil. He will be greatly missed and always loved.
