Obituary of Jack Petersen

Jack Orsborn Petersen of Albany, Oregon passed away on March 30, 2016 at the age of 84. He was born March 25, 1932 in Ferron, Utah to Wendell and Luceil Petersen. Jack spent time in Utah before moving to Klamath Falls and meeting the love of his life in high school. He married his sweetheart, Flavia Aleen Lee, on August 25, 1951. They would have been married 65 years in August 2016. Jack is survived by his wife, Flavia; his three children, nine grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren. Jack loved his family, traveling in their motor home to Yuma, Arizona; snowmobiling, 4-wheeling and wood working, making custom toy boxes for all of his grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Samaritan Evergreen Hospice in Albany. Memorial service is on April 6 at 11:00 AM at the Jefferson Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Jefferson, Oregon Arrangements entrusted to Lane Memorial Funeral Home.
