Obituary of Sarony Svay
Sarony “Ronnie” Svay, 42, of Vancouver, Washington, entered eternal life on March 2nd, 2020. She was born on April 2nd, 1977 to Sareth and Thach Svay of Keizer, Oregon. Sarony attended Swegle Elementary School, Waldo Middle School, and McKay and McNary High School, all within the Salem-Keizer area.
Sarony was a loving, funny, compassionate person that loved to eat and feed everyone around her, even strangers in a Subway line. If you were ever in-need of condiment packets, rest assured, she had one in her bag. She spent her weekends with her boys and her family, gathering them together for dinner or a family outing.
Sarony was the life of the party at any gathering. She was full of energy and light that could lift your spirits and brighten your soul, always ending a phone call with “I love you more!” She could never leave the house without makeup or having her hair done, even if it was just to the corner market. Overall, she was a beautiful person inside-and-out.
Her spirit is carried on by her parents, Sareth and Thach Svay; her two young boys, Drake, 8, and Parker, 5; her sister, Sotha Svay, 44; her brother, Sary “Bobby” Svay, 37; and her partner, Jason Wiinikka. Her spirit is also carried on by her extended family of uncles, aunts, and cousins. Her family was the light of her life, and she will be forever missed.
Visitation will be Friday, March 13th from 12:Noon to 5:00 PM. Services will be 10:00 AM Saturday, March 14, 2020 both at Virgil T. Golden Funeral Service.
