Obituary of Diana Lynn Price

Diana was a native Oregonian. Born to Ida and James Price in Pendleton, Oregon on the nineteenth day of April in the year nineteen hundred and fifty nine. She is preceeded in death by her mother, father, stepfather Joe Villao, and life partner/ best friend Rudy Golbinec. Moms giving nature was felt by all who interacted with her. From her neighbors to the local grocery clerks. She showed us on a daily basis how giving of one's time is the biggest gift of love. She enjoyed volunteering in community kitchens, and donating to local non profits. She expressed her loving nature greatly when she quite her college program and opened her home to her ed husband (our father) Rudy Golbinec to care for him during his last days on earth. She eventually finished her program and continued her love of serving professionally in public service for both DHS and DOJ. Her greatest pleasure came from spending time with her children and grandchildren. She spent her golden years helping to raise her grandchildren and sharing her love for the outdoors and gardening with them. Mom did not come by anything easily in life. She worked hard for even the simple things. Mom never let the negative hold her down. She was a beautiful soul who kept showing up for others because she lived her truth. That the only reason for anything is love. This truth is her legacy. She is survived by her children Stephanie and Jesse Nelson, Rudy Golbinec, Rene Golbinec, Steven Golbinec. Her precious grandchildren Hailey Nelson, Rudy Golbinec 4th, Hunter Nelson, Harper Nelson, Valentine Golbinec, her 4 sisters and 2 brothers. She left her physical body surrounded by her family on the Tenth day of March two thousand and twenty. The best way to honor mom is to suspend your judgement of others and use that moment to be kind instead. Your legacy lives on.
