I’m so grateful that I was able to meet Drew and to work closely with him these past six years. He was one of the coolest guys I’ve ever meet and I’m going to miss him terribly. I will especially miss reminiscing with him about old movies and TV shows.

Drew it just isn't going to be the same at work without you and your laughter.
There was no mistaking your voice or laugh. And man that laugh was contagious!
My fondest memory is you constantly checking in on me when I was pregnant. You could just tell I needed it and for that I am extremely grateful. Telling me that I was such a good Mom for going out and walking during my lunch when I was huge and so uncomfortable. Man am I going to miss you!
You left us too soon but knowing you are up above looking down on us is comforting. I will miss you my friend! I am sure all those up above are marveling in your infectious laughter.
Thoughts and Prayers to your family.

To my great friend Drew Gish,
Our early years of high school brought us together and grew to a closeness unlike most. Although I couldn't talk him into moving away with me, it only took a few months of phone calls to change his mind and I was finally happy to welcome him to CO. Good ol' Drew always provoked my thoughts and doings of Christ. That was my favorite thing to do with Drew when we backpacked to the mountain peaks only to have discussions about our Lord Jesus Christ, his teachings, forgiveness and how they relate to us now. How fitting after all these years we still can have our discussions and talk of the bible never missing a beat even decades later. Days of the early 80's really do seem like yesterday (those were the days), with our many trips together still vivid and to detail about our trails, mountains and rivers along the way. I miss you Drew, been waiting a long time to see you again, Ill have to wait a little longer but I truly believe I will. Since our faith in Christ is with us and our loved ones (you) are with him...they are not very far away. I love you Drew...forever. In God we trust, Marc

Dearest Diane, George, Hannah, and Ann,
Pete and I send each of you our deepest condolences and prayers. We love you all and only wish we could be there in Oregon with you.
May Drew rest peacefully. His health has been so very challenging the past couple of years. His loving last words were all about seeing Diane, George, Hannah, and Ann in heaven. He and Shane are reunited. Blessing to each of you.
Love,
Yolanda and Pete Lesco

We loved his heart for God. The day before He began to worship unencumbered, Ray and I were talking about wordhip in our church. Ray named 3 men that he "saw" as having a nice ember of worship that was on the verge of exploding. Drew was one of those 3.
