I met Elaine in 83 for a theater festival we organized in San Antonio and we immediately became fast friends. What a joy it was to be her friend. I will always cherish the memory of her generosity, her big smile and her musical laughter. Un abrazo grande, querida Elaine.

What a treat it was to know Elaine. Her hearty laugh, wry sense of humor, and creativity are the things I loved. She spent a Christmas with our family many years back and I still have the beautiful blue vase that she gave us on display. It's a nice remembrance of a truly nice person.

I enjoyed Elaine's friendship for almost 20 years. She was my neighbor and close friend. I was fortunate to have frequent talks with her about all kinds of topics. We shared food laughter and lots of energetic conversation. I already miss her terribly. I extend my deepest condolences to her family.

My friend. You now walk the Elysian Fields in peace knowing the truth of life, death, infinity. I hope you were right and that you will be born again to give your light to the Earth.

Your friends are truly loyal, even in your death. They hold you in high esteem and really miss you. They knew you better than I knew you. Godspeed to you Elaine.
