Obituary of Leroy Crocker
Leroy was born September 19, 1966 in Bonanza, Alberta and passed away March 22, 2012 at 45 years of age.
Leroy attended Bonanza School and went on to graduate from South Peace Senior Secondary School in Dawson Creek. He worked in the oil and gas industry on oil and service rigs and later became a medic.
As a child, Leroy competed in horse show events, including 4-H, and later became well known in the agricultural community raising Limousin cattle. His hobbies included
riding motorcycles, canoeing and fishing.
His is survived by his mother Viola Hingley, father Russel (Helen) Crocker, sister Sylvia (Don) Funk, sister Carol (Merl) Giesbrecht, nephew Colton Giesbrecht and
numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Leroy was predeceased by his grandparents, his stepfather Orville Hingley and his nephew Branden Giesbrecht.
A memorial service was held at 2 p.m. Monday, April 2, 2012 at the Bonanza and District Community Hall.
Leroy was cremated, an inurnment will be held at a later date.
