Carsten Timothy Herman 1987 - 2009
Carsten Timothy Herman was born on December 2, 1987 in Salmon Arm, BC to Grant and Karen Herman. He passed away suddenly on December 30, 2009 from undiagnosed cancer. Carsten lived life to the maximum and never sat on the sidelines. He made many lasting friendships with a large number of folks and was a loyal and fun friend to many. You only had to spend a few minutes with him and you hit it off very quickly.
Carsten was predeceased by his older brother Kyle Brandon Herman. Carsten is missed very much by his loving parents Grant and Karen Herman, his siblings Matthew Herman and Alyssa McLain, brother in-law Derek McLain and his partner Chrissie Grant. Grandson to Marilyn and Brian Beattie, Robert Herman, nephew to Greg and Elsa Herman, Danita and Ken Nastrom, Glenn and Becky Herman, John and Gladys Janssen, Steve and Jacqueline Janssen, Linda Janssen, Melody and Don Thompson, Arliss and James McKechnie.
Uncle to Riley Herman and Gracie McLain.
A Memorial service took place on January 4, 2010 at Bergeron Funeral Chapel in Dawson Creek, British Columbia. Pastor Gary Henderson officiated the service.
A private family inurnment was held in the Brookside Cemetery, Dawson Creek, BC.
There will be a celebration of life ceremony for Carsten to be held in Victoria on February 6th, 2010 for the many friends he left behind.
