Obituary of Florence Ballew

Florence BallewFlorence G. Ballew of Springfield died Sept. 24 of age-related causes. She was 91. No service is planned.She was born April 6, 1918, in Piror, Mo., to Louis and Polly Tippett Besson. She married Dave Woolard in 1938, and they later divorced. She married John Henry Ballew in February 1966, in Vancouver, Wash. He died April 23, 2003.She attended Clifty Hall and Mountain Grove High School in Missouri. She worked for Pacific Northwest Bell, and retired in June 1980.Survivors include a daughter, A. JoAnn Woolard of Springfield; and two grandchildren.Arrangements by Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene. Remembrances to any animal shelter.
