Obituary of Jo Barthelemy

Jo BarthelemyA memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 1, at the Eugene Faith Center for Lorraine Joan “Jo” Barthelemy of Eugene, who died Sept. 26 of age-related causes. She was 77.She was born March 2, 1932, in Sunnyside, Wash., to Ernest and Margaret Shaw Paradis. She married William Hahn in 1951 in Sunnyside. He died in 1973. She married Edward Barthelemy on Sept. 10, 1983, in Eugene.She graduated from Sunnyside High School, the Bryman School and real estate training. She worked as a secretary in medical, dental and chiropractic offices, was a real estate agent and worked in retail sales and as a waitress.Survivors include four children, Marsha Hahn of Portland, Jacqueline Hahn and Brian Hahn, both of Eugene, and Tracy Hahn of Sacramento; three siblings, Arlene Waller of Washington, Loyal Paradis of Bend and Glen Paradis of Kennewick, Wash.; and four grandchildren.Inurnment will be at Sunset Hills Cemetery in Eugene.
