Obituary of Dan Streeter

A memorial service will be at noon Monday, Nov. 2, at Lane Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home in Eugene for Dean Lamoine Streeter of Veneta, who died Oct. 25 of age-related causes. He was 75. A reception following the service will be at Yukon Jack's Steakhouse & Saloon in Veneta. He was born Dec. 26, 1933, in Oldham, S.D., to Clyde and Audrey Streeter. He attended Eugene High School. He served in the U.S. Army, and spent his career as a welder and a millwright. Survivors include two daughters, Loretta Aggen of Lyons and Valerie George of Eugene; two sons, Danny Streeter of Springfield and Richard Streeter of Eugene; two sisters, Joice Taylor of Eugene and Janice Arnold of Tulsa, Okla.; and six grandchildren, two step-grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. His wife, Fern Streeter, and a son, Larry Streeter, died previously.
