Obituary of Trellice Kappel

Trellice KappelTrellice M. Kappel of Gleneden Beach, formerly of Lane County, died Dec. 1 of age-related causes. She was 89. No service is planned.She was born Oct. 2, 1920, in Kelso, Wash. She married Karl Kappel on Nov. 8, 1941, in Olympia, Wash.She worked as the post master of the Gleneden Beach U.S. Post Office and worked as a cashier at the Salishan Lodge.Survivors include a daughter, Pamela McKenzie of Newport; a son, William of St. Louis, Mo.; and five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Her husband and son, James, died previously.
