Obituary of Concetta Russo

Concetta RussoA funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 14, at St. Paul Catholic Church for Concetta “Connie” Russo of Eugene, who died Dec. 2 of complications of a fall and surgery. She was 86.Visitation will be at the church from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 13. A Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Sunday at the church. Burial will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Mount Calvary Cemetery.She was born Feb. 9, 1923, in Boston to Vito and Magdelena Toleno Marotti. She married Gaetano “Guy” Russo on June 4, 1944, in Boston.She attended St. Anthony Catholic School. She worked in the family restaurant in Connecticut and was a homemaker.Survivors include her husband; two sons, Vito and John, both of Wallingford, Conn.; a daughter, Maria Russo Moule of Eugene; a brother, Theodore Marotti of Long Island, N.Y.; a sister, Elvera Parenti of Long Island; and 10 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.Arrangements by Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene.
