Marjorie HoganA memorial service will be at 6:30 p.m. Saturday Dec. 5 at Ebbert Memorial United Methodist Church in Springfield for Marjorie Carol Dawley Hogan of Eugene, who died Nov. 24 of complications from Alzheimer’s disease. She was 76.She was born June 30, 1933, in Oxnard, Calif., to Homer and Carol Coffin Dawley.She graduated from Oxnard High School and worked in civil service for the U.S. Navy at Port Hueneme, Calif. and at Elmendorf Air Force Base in Anchorage. In Springfield, she worked for American Concrete Cutting and retired in 1992.Survivors include two daughters, Kathleen Petersen of Farmington, N.M. and Patricia Gregg of Springfield; three sisters, Mary Winstead of Port Hueneme, Nancy Towe of Santa Paula, Calif., and Donna Steinmetz of Portland; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. A son, Kenneth Hogan, and a grandson, Bryan Petersen, died previously.Arrangements by Springfield Memorial Funeral Home. Remembrances to Peace Health Hospice or the Alzheimer’s Association.
