Obituary of Verna Maugh

A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 19, at Bethel Community Church, 2600 Wood Ave., in Eugene, for Verna Maugh of Eugene, who died Dec. 9 of age-related causes. She was 95.She was born Aug. 6, 1914, in Ruthton, Minn., to Ed and Annie Peterson Halverson. She married Murrel Cecil Maugh on Jan. 1, 1941, in Eugene. He died in 1989.Survivors include two sons, Gene of Albany and Dale of Portland; and five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.Burial will be at Lane Memorial Gardens.Arrangements by West Lawn Memorial Park & Funeral Home in Eugene.
