Obituary of Delores Smith

Delores Faye “Dee” Smith of Roseburg, formerly of Lane County, died Dec. 2 at age 74. The family chose not to list the cause of death. A memorial service will be later.She was born Nov. 11, 1935, in Walsh, Colo., to Donald and Bessie Woolley Hackelman. She married Willis Smith on Aug. 15, 1964, in Washington state. He died July 6, 2002.She was a homemaker.Survivors include a son, John of Salem; a daughter, Doreen LeValley of Oakland, Ore.; six brothers, Ron Lyons of Springfield; Lonnie Burson of Green, Richard Burson of Madras, Fred Burson, Bob Burson and Tim Burson, all of Roseburg; and three sisters, Marsha May of Roseburg, Donna Myers of Springfield and Debbie Brooks of Salem; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.Arrangements by Chapel of Memorial Funeral Home in Eugene.
