James BeckerThe Masonic Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 6, at the Cottage Grove Masonic Lodge #51 for James Richard Becker of Eugene, who died Dec. 29 of cancer. He was 67. Visitation will be at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Masonic lodge, with private burial following the service at the Yoncalla Masonic Cemetery.He was born July 21, 1942, in Odgen, Utah, to Richard and Ella Emery Becker. He married Susan Steele May 27, 1966, in Elko, Nev.He worked as a long haul trucker, a locomotive engineer for Southern Pacific Railroad and Central Oregon & Pacific Railroad, and as an engineer training instructor.Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Kathleen Bond of Eugene; a son, James R. Becker II, of Eugene; a sister, Paula M. Glauber of Livermore, Calif.; and three grandchildren.Arrangements by Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene.
