Obituary of Ruth Adair

JUNCTION CITY — A celebration of life will be held at 1 p.m. Jan. 8 at Harrisburg Riverside Church for Ruth B. Adair of Junction City, who died Dec. 17 of age-related causes. She was 81.She was born Feb. 2, 1929, in Glendale to William and Cora Houck Stewart. She married Allen “Bud” Wright Adair on April 3, 1949, in Sherwood. He died Feb. 7, 2008.She graduated from Sherwood High School and a Portland beauty college. She worked for several farmers in the Junction City area.Survivors include four sons, Eddie of Corvallis, Dennis of Junction City, Billy of Bremerton, Wash., and Bobby of Springfield; a daughter, Sharon Cox of Port Angeles, Wash.; a sister, Donna Lamb of Albany; and 12 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.Arrangements by Murphy-Musgrove Funeral Home in Junction City.
