Obituary of Joseph Radler

Joseph Radler Jr.Joseph C. “Joe” Radler Jr. of Eugene died Jan. 11 of age-related causes. He was 89. No service is planned.He was born March 25, 1920, in Harvey, Ill., to Joseph and Clara Thorsen Radler. He married Georgia Sonstein on Dec. 24, 1960, in Oakland, Calif. She died Oct. 7, 1998.He served in the National Guard from 1941 to 1945. He worked as a plant operator in public works for the city of San Jose, Calif.Survivors include two sons, Daniel of Prunedale, Calif., and Mark of San Jose; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.Inurnment will be at National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona in Phoenix. Arrangements by Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene. Remembrances to Mercy Corps.
