Obituary of Patricia Mae Lingo
Patricia Mae Lingo of Junction City died Dec. 27 of age-related causes. She was 76. Visitation is from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. today, Dec. 30, at Murphy-Musgrove Funeral Home in Junction City and private inurnment will be at Franklin Cemetery. A celebration of life will be held Saturday, January 16th from 1-4pm at the home of Stuart & Charlotte Lingo.She was born Dec. 28, 1932, in Ontario, Ore., to Axtel and Lolo Baker Reed. She married Carl Lingo Aug. 15, 1955, in Killeen, Texas.She graduated high school in Vale, Ore., and attended Oregon State College in Corvallis.Prior to her marriage, she worked for Idaho Power. Later, she raised sheep and rye grass on her family farm in Junction City. She worked as a waitress at the Eugene Airport, then worked as area manager for Avis Rental Cars. She operated an antique store, first called Sheep Barn Antiques and then Lingo’s Antiques, from what had been a sheep barn on her farm.Survivors include her husband; two sons, Stuart and Scott, both of Junction City; and two sisters, Elaine Ringo of Woodburn and Rosemary Coles of Palo Cedro, Calif. A son, Stephen Lingo, died previously.Arrangements by Murphy-Musgrove Funeral Home in Junction City. Remembrances to the American Heart Association.
