Obituary of Joan Tooker

A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 6, at Cottage Grove Bible Church for Joan E. Tooker of Cottage Grove, who died Jan. 29 of cancer. She was 72. Burial will be at Springfield Memorial Gardens.She was born Oct. 12, 1937, in Klamath Falls, to Roy and Muriel Hall Shoemaker. She married David W. Tooker on June 22, 1957, in Portland.She graduated from Springfield High School, and was a homemaker.Survivors include four daughters, Dianne MacMillan and Lisa Dilley, both of La Pine, Carol Williams of Lincoln, Mont., and Sheryl Tooker-Dilley of Creswell; a brother, Donald Shoemaker of Springfield; and eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.Arrangements by Springfield Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home.Remembrances to Samaritans Purse in Boone, N.C.
