Obituary of Elta Doornink

Elta DoorninkA memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 9, at Central Presbyterian Church in Eugene for Elta Winona Doornink of Eugene, who died Feb. 2 of age-related causes. She was 95. A private graveside service will be at Rest-Haven Memorial Park in Eugene.She was born Jan. 5, 1915, in Archer, Iowa, to Winant and Effie Dyksterhuis Vander Kamp. She married Elmer Doornink Jun 17, 1938, in Hospers, Iowa. He died in 1980.She graduated from Commercial Extension University of Omaha, Neb.She was a legal secretary.Survivors include two sons, Doug of Scio, and Jon of Cheshire; and five grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.Arrangements by Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene.
