Obituary of Guy Hehn
A memorial service and potluck will be from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 13, and the Scandinavian Festival Hall in Junction City for Guy R. Hehn of Albany, who died Feb. 9 of complications from cancer. He was 75. A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Rest Lawn Memorial Park in Junction City.He was born March 12, 1934, in Oregon City, to Roy and Helen Rutherford Hehn. He married Wanda Lea Weir July 3, 1955, in Junction City.He graduated from Harrisburg High School and received a bachelor’s degree from Oregon College of Education in Monmouth. He served in the U.S. Army, stationed in Alaska, during the Korean War from 1953 to 1955.He worked as a resin specialist at Borden Chemical Company for 21 years, and as technical director, manager and construction supervisor for particle and fiberboard plants in Oregon, Montana, California, North Carolina, Virginia and the Philippines.Survivors include his wife; two sons, Lyle and Paul, both of Portland; and seven grandchildren. A daughter, Donna Hehn Thompson, died in 1987.Arrangements by Murphy-Musgrove Funeral Home in Junction City.
