Obituary of Gloria Waits

Gloria WaitsPLEASANT HILL — The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 13, at Pleasant Hill Church of Christ for Gloria Jean Waits of Pleasant Hill, who died Feb. 4 of respiratory failure. She was 61.She was born Aug. 28, 1948, in Ontario, Ore., to Harold and Erma Reed Shepherd. She married Douglas John Waits on Aug. 29, 1966, in Vale.She graduated from Pleasant Hill High School, and was a Medicare specialist for the city of Springfield.Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Brenda Van Cleave of Ontario; a son, Daniel Waits of Pleasant Hill; two sisters, Mary Young of Vancouver, Wash., and Donna Cummingford of Vale; a brother, Wayne Shepherd of Bend; and four grandchildren.Arrangements by Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene.
