Allen BedburyThe funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 18, at St. Thomas More Newman Center in Eugene for Allen Lee Bedbury of Eugene, who died Feb. 15 of cancer. He was 83. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. today at Musgrove Family Mortuary, and a burial service for family members will be at 11:30 a.m. Thursday at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Eugene. A memorial reception will be from noon to 3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 28, at the Hilton Eugene.He was born March 2, 1926, in St. Paul, Minn., to Harry and Grace Borst Bedbury. He married Mary Alice Fengler on Dec. 27, 1952, at Rice Lake, Wis. She died March 17, 2002.He graduated from Spartan College of Aeronautics & Technology. He served in the U.S. Air Force during World War II.He was an air traffic controller for nine years, then worked in automobile sales for 52 years, first at Parmenter Pontiac and then with Dunham Oldsmobile in Eugene.Survivors include three daughters, Ann Kokkeler of Eugene, Linda Musselman of Mesa, Ariz., and Sheila DiPace of Sanford, Fla.; three sons, Jeff of Scottsdale, Ariz., Daniel of Eugene and Scott of Sammammish, Wash.; a brother, Floyd Bedbury of St. Paul; and six grandchildren.Arrangements by Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene. Remembrances to the Lions Club of Eugene Downtown.
