Obituary of Thomas Stirling

Thomas StirlingA memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 19, at Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene for Thomas G. “Tom” Stirling of Eugene, who died Feb. 2 of age-related causes. He was 85. A graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Feb. 19, at West Lawn Cemetery in Eugene.He was born Dec. 17, 1924, in Montana, to Tom and Georgia Stirling. He married Annegret Aiken in Oregon about 50 years ago.He graduated high school in Turner, Mont. He served in the Army during World War II, in the South Pacific.He worked in real estate and investments, and owned the campus Dairy Queen for several years.Survivors include his wife; a stepson, Jorg, of California; two sisters, Ida Jane Taylor of Olympia, and JoAnn Conrad Roseburg of Bellevue, Wash.; and two brothers, Bill Stirling of Winchester Bay and Roger Stirling of Eugene.Arrangements by Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene.
