Obituary of Mary Offill

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday Feb 20, at Springfield Memorial Gardens for Mary Elizabeth Offill of Springfield who died Feb. 11 of cancer at age 65.She was born Nov. 4, 1944, in Carlsbad, N.M., to Orvil and Bessie Kelton Prewitt. She married Dennis Gayle Offill on May 29, 1971, in Bakersfield, Calif.She graduated from Carlsbad High School in 1963.She worked for Sacred Heart Medical Center for 32 years.Survivors include her husband; three sisters, Betty Schrock and Kathy Hart, both of Carlsbad, and Wilma Arnold of Arroyo Grande, Calif.; and three brothers, Gene Prewitt of Bakersfield, Jim Prewitt of San Antonio and Ralph Prewitt of Carlsbad.Arrangements by Springfield Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home.
