Obituary of Mary Oland

Mary OlandMary Louise Oland of Eugene died Feb. 22 of ovarian cancer. She was 43. A celebration of life is planned for later.She was born Nov. 11, 1966, in Springfield to Delbert and Ina Van Proyen Oland.She graduated from Thurston High School and attended Lane Community College and Oregon State University. She worked for Georgia-Pacific, then as the resident jeweler at Harry Ritchie’s, as a mortgage broker at Pacific Home Funding and selling public safety equipment at Chief Supply.Survivors include a son, Jerime Oland, currently stationed in Afghanistan; her father and stepmother, Delbert and Carolyn Oland; two brothers, Roger Green of Los Angeles and Eddie Palmer of Portland; and two sisters, Michelle Kopp and Wendy Ellis, both of Yoncalla.Arrangements by Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene.
