Obituary of Donna Herington

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 23, at Assembly of God in Goshen for Donna Diane Herington of Eugene, who died Feb. 17 of brain cancer at age 74. Inurnment will be at Springfield Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home.She was born June 24, 1935, in Eugene to Nelson and Wilma Addison Garoutte. She married William James Herington on July 3, 1953, in Reno, Nev.She graduated from McKenzie High School in June 1953. She was a homemaker, Avon representative and Sacred Heart Hospital employee.Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Rachele Wedmore of Eugene; a son, Kevin of California; a sister, Sharlene Chase of Eugene; two brothers, Jerry Garoutte of Alaska and Dick Garoutte of Eugene; and five grandchildren.
