Obituary of Neva Sterling

Neva SterlingNeva Rae Sterling of Eugene died Feb. 18 of respiratory failure. She was 77. A private, family memorial service will be held.She was born Jan. 14, 1933, in Concordia, Kan., to I.R. and Melva Brooks Davis. She married Gene Sterling Oct. 1, 1951, in Concordia.She work-ed for more than 35 years in network communications for AT&T.Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Jodi Ann Sterling-Brown of Portland and Jamie Sterling-Counard of Eugene; a son, Greg of Mountain Home, Idaho; a sister, Ruth Ann Russell of Wichita, Kan.; two brothers, Harry Davis of Warsaw, Mo., and Norman Davis of Ottowa, Kan.; and six grandchildren. A daughter, Jonie Kay Sterling, died in 1992.Arrangements by Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene. Remembrances to Sacred Heart Hospice or the Relief Nursery.
