Betty CavanaughThe funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 3, at St. Mark’s Catholic Church in Eugene for Betty A. Cavanaugh of Eugene, who died Feb. 21 of age-related causes. She was 86. Burial will be at Mount Calvary Cemetery in Eugene.She was born Sept. 8, 1923, in Eugene, to Wilfred and Maude Hogelton Miller. She married Ray Cavanaugh on Oct. 20, 1944, in Seattle. He died Feb. 12, 2008.She graduated from Eugene High School.She and her husband owned and operated Miller Shoe Repair in Eugene for 45 years.Survivors include two daughters, Arlene Hamilton of Junction City and Nancy Heitz of Tigard; two sons, Jim of Redmond, Wash., and Tom of Eugene; and 11 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.Arrangements by Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene, Remembrances to St. Vincent de Paul Society in Eugene.
