Obituary of Mary Perrin

Mary PerrinA memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Monday, March 8, at the North Eugene Faith Center for Mary “Marty” Perrin of Eugene, who died Feb. 28 of complications from Parkinson’s disease. She was 79.She was born April 19, 1930, in Cherryvale, Kans., to Eilert and June Douglas Heiken. She married Harlo James Perrin on March 1, 1952, at Coos Bay.She received a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from the University of Oregon.She taught at Condon and Gilham elementary schools in the Eugene School District from 1961 to 1988.Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Carolyn Perrin of Portland and Brenda Andrew of Eugene; and three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. A son, Harlo J. Perrin, died in 1976.Arrangements by Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene. Remembrances to the Eugene Mission and Sacred Heart Hospice.
