Obituary of Jessie Belisle

Jessie BelisleThe funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 10, at Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene for Jessie “Jessica” Taylor Belisle of Eugene, who died March 5 of age-related causes. She was 89. Visitation will be from noon to 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.She was born Dec. 19, 1920, in Weiser, Idaho, to William and Ellen Mikkelsen Taylor.She married Lester Belisle on Dec. 10, 1938, in Idaho. He died Jan. 12, 1986.She owned and operated Bungalow for Beauty on the University of Oregon campus for more than 25 years.Survivors include a son, Zee of Mesa, Ariz.; a daughter, Melody Belisle-Stalone of Eugene; eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. A daughter, Jalene Walker, died in 1996.Burial will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Hillcrest Cemetery in Weiser. Arrangements by England’s Eugene Memorial Chapel. Remembrances to Springfield Police Department K-9 unit.
