Paul PrenskyA memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, March 13, at the Deadwood Community Center for Paul Prensky of Eugene, who died March 7 of heart failure. He was 69.He was born July 13, 1940, in Brooklyn, N.Y., to Sol and Dinah Rochefsky Prensky. He married Keren Levy in 1964 in London, Joy Gardner in 1973 in Seattle and Gloria in 1993 in Eugene.He attended Brooklyn College and held a bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Washington. He was an actor, registered nurse, furniture mover, theater producer and founder, writer and editor of Eugene’s “The Other Paper.”Survivors include a daughter, Ellen Perling of Sacramento; two sons, Kalon of Maui, Hawaii, and Reuben of Port Moody, B.C.; his mother, now of Silver Spring, Md.; two brothers, Hank of Takoma Park, Md., and Joel of Hopewell Junction, N.Y.; and three grandchildren.Arrangements by Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene.
