Obituary of Ola Haugen

A celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m. March 13 at West Lawn Memorial Park & Funeral Home in Eugene for Ola Marie Haugen of Eugene, who died March 2 of age-related causes. She was 77.She was born Jan. 25, 1933, in Philomath to Fred and Fannie Brown Bristlin. She married Roger Haugen on Sept. 5, 1985, in Reno, Nev.She graduated from high school in Redmond. She worked as a bookkeeper for various firms and as a florist and butcher. She worked in customer service at Montgomery Ward and as a bookkeeper for the U.S. Postal Service.Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Karen Aman of Eugene; two sons, John Leisher of Stayton and Larry Leisher of Eugene; nine grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
