For many years she was the smiling face who greeted customers and listened with a caring heart. Maria was a talented artist who worked with oils, acrylics, but especially enjoyed water colors. She belonged to a writing group. Among her favorite places were Yachats and Devil's Elbow, beaches on the Oregon coast, where she would beachcomb, sketch and picnic. She was a gracious hostess and creative cook. Her green thumb nurtured beautiful roses and tasty tomatoes.
