Obituary of Betty Lund

Betty LundA memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. March 20 at the First United Methodist Church in Eugene for Betty J. Lund of Eugene, who died March 7 of age-related causes. She was 81.She was born March 16, 1928, in Eugene to Roy and Grace Fullerton Leonard. She married Bert Lund on June 29, 1958, in Portland.She held a bachelor of arts degree from Willamette University. She worked as a records consultant for the State Board of Health in Portland, as an elementary teacher in Portland and as a library aide at Edgewood Elementary in Eugene.Survivors include her husband; two sons, James of Sisters and David of Eugene; a sister, Donna Armstrong of Salem; and four grandchildren.Burial will be at Lincoln Memorial Park in Portland. Arrangements by Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene. Remembrances to the American Cancer Society or the music program at First United Methodist Church.
